The All-Sports Museum at Penn State will play host to a gallery talk hosted by the New York Liberty’s Tanisha Wright on Thursday. It is part of its Ellen Perry Speaker Series.
Wright played four years with the Nittany Lions and established herself as one of the most notable players in Penn State’s women’s basketball history. With her on-court leadership, Penn State reached three Sweet Sixteens and one Elite Eight.
Among those that have appeared at previous gallery talks were former Penn State fencer Johanna Hall and former swimmer and current team physician Roberta Millard.
There will also be a Facebook livestream of the event as there has been for previous gallery talks. Wright also recently participated in a panel discussion on racial and social issues co-hosted by the Liberty and the Ross Institute in Sports for Equality (RISE) prior to the team’s “Unity Game” vs. the Minnesota Lynx this past Sunday.
