Being effective in the community is as every bit as important to WNBA players as being effective on the court.
Tiffany Mitchell is one of those. A star on the rise with the Indiana Fever, she is a name that we will surely hear about for many of the coming years.
The South Carolina alum is now looking to make her presence known away from the court as well. She launched a non-profit aimed at helping single parents called SPIN Haven. The “SPIN” stands for Single Parents In Need.
SPIN Haven has also announced its first event – fittingly, in the Carolinas. It has teamed up with a foster home in Charlotte to collect items for Christmas as well as everyday items for children.
Started my own non profit organization for single parents! Can say alot of work went into making this happen and I am passionate about this cause being that I was raised in a single parent home❤️ pic.twitter.com/4yUDxL0c4r
