Yes, making it to the WNBA is cool, but do you know the feeling of not only making it into the W, but upon arrival inking one of your first endorsement deals?
That is what three of the WNBA’s rookies realized when Under Armour came to them and wanted to talk dollars and cents.
The sportswear outlet, based in Baltimore, recently announced that it had inked endorsement deals with three of the W’s rookies. Two of them are Dallas Wings in Ty Harris and Bella Alarie with the other being Kaila Charles of the Connecticut Sun.
One of the WNBA’s executives also has an Under Armour connection. Christin Hedgpeth, the WNBA’s Chief Operating Officer, once had a stint with Under Armour as well as with Spalding and Russell Athletic.
