The year 2020 has taken another icon from us.
Longtime United States Supreme Court justice and champion for civil and women’s rights, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, passed away this weekend. Ginsburg was 87 years of age at the time of her death.
Prior to Game 1 of one of the two WNBA semifinals series featuring the Las Vegas Aces and Connecticut Sun, the league paid tribute to the late, great pioneer of progressive causes.
Sad to hear of the passing of an icon, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a role model, and a champion for equality for so many. Love this quote of hers: “Fight for the things that you care about, but do it in a way that will lead others to join you.” Deepest condolences to her family. 🙏🏼
