If there is another WNBA Finals this season between the Los Angeles Sparks and Minnesota Lynx or any of the other 10 franchises, expect to see a heavy dose of the YouTube TV logo throughout the course of ESPN’s coverage.

The W was dished a key assist from its big brother league, the NBA, when it was announced that YouTube TV was named as a presenting partner for the WNBA Finals. Along with that, it will also be a presenting partner for the NBA Finals as well as the G-League Finals.

The pact is a multi-year deal and is slated to run through 2019.

A “Presented by YouTube TV” logo will be featured during all games and will be featured in ESPN ad breaks.

The NBA Finals on ABC, as well as the WNBA Finals and NBA G League Finals, are pinnacle events, and with YouTube TV, we are excited to provide fans with new ways to experience the excitement of these championship series.

Free streaming of games on Twitter, the NBA Live inclusion, now YouTube TV. In terms of bold moves to broaden its visibility, what will the W think of next?
