The WNBA’s reigning Rookie of the Year appears to be the latest in a long line of W stars that are entering the broadcasting ranks.

Coming off playing overseas in China where she sustained a knee injury, The State in Columbia has reported that she will be on the ESPN/SEC Network broadcast team for a number of games throughout this college basketball season.

This started with the Gamecocks’ contest against Furman at Colonial Life Arena which aired on SEC Network Plus. Dawn Staley’s Gamecock won by a final of 66-53.

The State is also reporting that Wilson is hoping to put the finishing touches on a pact where she will call more games for ESPN and SEC Network – including SEC tournament contests.
