When Los Angeles Sparks fans hear the name Candace Parker, they automatically think of her being one of the greatest players in franchise – and WNBA – history.

After the Sparks were eliminated in the second round of last year’s playoffs by the Connecticut Sun, intrigue immediately began surrounding her whereabouts for the upcoming season. After all – she is one of several top-tier free agents Derek Fisher and company hope to welcome back into the fold for next season and beyond.

Sparks fans may look at her latest move as one sign she intends to stay put in Los Angeles. She spent $4 million for a new farmhouse-style home this month in San Fernando Valley.

Among its amenities – a motorcourt for at least six cars, a three-car garage, hardwood floors and a multi-colored scheme.

Its five bedrooms each have a bathroom with its master having its own fireplace, walk-in closet and spa bathroom. It also comes with a soundproof movie theater that seats 10. The family room and courtyard also offer fireplaces.

The kitchen features Thermador appliances and nearby is a breakfast bar. There’s also a breakfast nook, outdoor patios, a pool house and … of course … a basketball court.

WNBA Cribs, anyone?
