1-On-1: Swin Cash

3x WNBA Champion and forward Swin Cash is a woman who wears many hats. When she is not suited up on the court as the veteran voice of the Liberty, she can be seen on the 1st all-female sports talk show, “We Need To Talk” on CBS, working hands-on with her charity, Cash For Kids, or living the newlywed life with her husband, Steve Canal.

Last week, we sat down (literally) with Swin after the NY Liberty lost to the Indiana Fever 80-63. In this clip, we talked about the game and ways that they are looking to improve. She also talked to us about Cash For Kids Day, where she hosted almost 40 middle school kids from the Pittsburgh area for a two-day educational trip to NYC. We also talked about her recent appearance on the Melissa Harris-Perry Show on MSNBC, and the importance of staying to true to yourself and to your voice. Check it out below:

In case you missed it, here is a clip of the Melissa Harris-Perry episode, where the topic was about the financial disparities facing the female players of FIFA, and the meaning of Caitlyn Jenner’s transformation in the sports world:
