As the namesake of Team Wilson, the Las Vegas Aces’ A’ja Wilson is practically one of the grand marshals for the upcoming All-Star weekend events in Sin City.

She of course will still be a main focal point, but she will not be participating in any on-court events.

Last Friday, Wilson injured her ankle when the Aces were on the road at the Seattle Storm and is expected to miss a few weeks.

As a result, Minnesota Lynx rookie Napheesa Collier was announced as Wilson’s replacement. She will join her Lynx teammates Odyssey Sims and Sylvia Fowles as representing Minnesota in the All-Star Game.
